We are thankful that both Caleb and Viola are doing well. Viola's minor surgery went well and she is quickly recovering. We are very thankful that the 24 hour EKG test showed that their is no blockage in the electrical signals in Caleb's heart. The pediatric heart specialist said that the majority of children with a slow heart rate no longer have this issue as adults. He has no major symptoms like being dizzy and having shortness of breath often. He will need to do a yearly 24 hour EKG and we will need to monitor his symptoms.
