水豆腐 Water Tofu

Danny and Caleb recently visited a good friend of ours in the countryside. He took Caleb and Danny to eat a special local breakfast near his house. We were each served a large bowl which contained hot soy milk with large pieces of soft chewy tofu and little pieces of a famous local bread. Not only was it delicious but it warmed our stomachs on a very cold day. The shop owner had arrived at 4am that day to begin making the water tofu.
